Emily Shaw is a Middle School Teacher who has worked at FernLeaf Community Charter School since August 2023. Previously, Emily was a Middle School Teacher at Transylvania County Schools from August 2020 to July 2022. Emily also served as a Communications Intern at North Carolina State University from May 2023 to July 2023, where Emily supported and coordinated campaigns to boost student engagement with the University Sustainability Office. Emily holds a Masters of Research in Climate Change and Society from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
