Matthew Laverty has a diverse work experience. Matthew first worked at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. as a Client Concierge from February 2014 to April 2016. Matthew then joined NBT Bank as an Analyst from June 2016 to August 2017. After that, they worked at Fenimore Asset Management, starting as a Data Analyst from September 2017 to June 2020. Matthew then became a Business Intelligence Associate from June 2020 to March 2023. Currently, Matthew holds the position of Controller at Fenimore Asset Management, starting from April 2023.

Matthew Laverty completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance at Siena College from 2012 to 2016. Matthew then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance at Russell Sage College from 2017 to 2020. Recently, Matthew enrolled at Pace University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting from 2023 to 2025. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Bloomberg Essentials from Bloomberg LP, Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) from Corporate Finance Institute (CFI), and Series 6, 63, and 65 from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority).
