Pashu Gopalan is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the renewable energy and housing sectors. Currently serving as Co-Chairman and CEO of Fenice Energy since January 2010, Pashu oversees the development and operation of solar projects in Asia and South Africa. Previously, Pashu held the role of Senior Vice President at SunEdison, focusing on South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa operations. Pashu also serves as CEO of Vilasini Housing, which specializes in innovative housing solutions. Earlier roles include CEO for Asia at Lightsource bp, and Vice President positions at MEMC/SunEdison, Cypress Semiconductor Corporation, and Bloom Energy. Pashu holds an MBA from Stanford University, a Master of Science in Engineering from Arizona State University, and a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
