Anthony Powers is a seasoned lighting designer and manager based in Oakland, California, with extensive experience in the live events and entertainment industry. Currently serving as Production Manager and Account Manager at Felix Lighting since February 2015, Anthony has also built a successful career as a self-employed lighting designer since 2001, focusing on corporate events, trade shows, and live music. Previous roles include lighting designer for Circus Smirkus, The Regency Ballroom, and Delicate Productions, where Anthony contributed to numerous live events and corporate shows. As a lighting director for Cirque Mechanics, Anthony toured extensively in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Complementing this professional experience, Anthony holds an MFA in Theatre Design and Production from San Francisco State University and a BFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute.
