Dr. Amanda Schaap PT, DPT, OTR/L, CLT-LANA is an experienced Physical and Occupational Therapist currently serving at My Choice Therapy and FeldCare Connects since September 2019 and May 2017 respectively, with a focus on home health. Prior experience includes positions at California Rehabilitation Institute as a Physical Therapist in outpatient settings and Occupational Therapist in inpatient acute rehabilitation, alongside roles as a lab assistant and student in various healthcare disciplines. Dr. Schaap holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge. Additionally, Dr. Schaap has earned certification as a Lymphedema Therapist and has a comprehensive background in multiple healthcare environments since beginning as a Physical Therapy Aide in 2010.
