Dennis Dean has extensive experience in motorsport governance and military program management. Currently serving as an FIA International Steward and a member of the World Motor Sport Council since February 2016, Dennis holds a longstanding role as a Washington DC Region Steward for the Sports Car Club of America since 2003. Previous positions include President of the FIA's Land Speed Records Commission and Chief Steward for major motorsport events. In addition to motorsport, Dennis has a solid background in defense contracting, holding roles such as Chief Administrative Officer and Operations Cell member for the Joint MRAP Vehicle Program. An accomplished naval officer, Dennis served as the Commanding Officer of USS Chosin and held significant positions within COMNAVSURFLANT. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Operations Research & Systems Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
