Mark Eichorn has extensive experience in legal roles, primarily at the Federal Trade Commission since January 1998, where current responsibilities include serving as Assistant Director in the Division of Privacy and Identity Protection. Previous positions at the Commission include Attorney Advisor to both Chairman Jon Leibowitz and Commissioner Tom Leary, as well as serving as a Staff Attorney in the Division of Advertising Practices. Prior to joining the FTC, Mark Eichorn worked as a Legal Associate at Mundt MacGregor L.L.P. from 1994 to 1997 and gained valuable experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Robert Beezer from 1992 to 1993. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor's degree from Yale University.
