Kelsey Simmerson is an accomplished attorney currently serving at the Federal Trade Commission since January 2024. Previously, Kelsey held positions as an associate at Zuckerman Spaeder LLP from June 2021 to January 2024 and at Latham & Watkins from September 2018 to June 2021. Kelsey contributed as volunteer counsel on the Biden-Harris Transition Team from August 2020 to January 2021. An earlier role as a judicial law clerk took place at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania from August 2017 to August 2018. Kelsey's experience also includes a summer associate position at Latham & Watkins in 2016, a judicial intern role at the United States District Court in the District of Columbia, and a paralegal position at the U.S. Department of Justice from 2012 to 2014. Kelsey began a strong academic foundation at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Public Service, followed by a Juris Doctor from Cornell Law School in 2017.
