Eli Freedman is an attorney at the Federal Trade Commission in the Bureau of Consumer Protection, Division of Enforcement, since October 2022. Prior roles include law clerk positions at the California Law Review and the Federal Trade Commission, as well as serving as an Academic Skills Program Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law. During this time, Eli taught a course for first-year law students and provided tutoring in Civil Procedure. Research experience includes working as a research assistant for Dean Erwin Chemerinsky. Eli also participated in the Fulbright-Hays Advanced Chinese Language Immersion Program and gained editorial experience as an intern at Forbes Indonesia. Eli holds a JD from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Global Liberal Studies and Mandarin from New York University.
