D'Laney Gielow is a Senior Staff Attorney at Legal Aid Chicago, having held various positions there since September 2020, including Staff Attorney and Skadden Fellowship Attorney. Prior experience includes serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Western District of Wisconsin from August 2018 to August 2020, and positions as a Summer Associate at Foley & Lardner LLP and Legal Intern at The Bronx Defenders and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. D'Laney's career began as a Senior Legal Assistant at Sanford Heisler, LLP, and included roles as a Constituent Services Intern for Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, Constituency Press Intern for Obama for America, Healthcare and Reproductive Rights Outreach Intern at the National Women's Law Center, and a Corps Member with Jumpstart for Young Children. D'Laney holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Yale Law School, a BA, summa cum laude in Political Science, Communication Studies, and French from Northwestern University, and has ongoing education at Sciences Po.
