Charles Dickinson is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in antitrust and consumer protection law. Currently serving as an Attorney in the Bureau of Competition, Mergers IV Division at the Federal Trade Commission since November 2014, Charles also holds the position of Counsel to the Director of the Bureau of Competition. Previously, Charles worked as an Associate at Hogan Lovells US LLP, where representation of clients in investigations, litigation, and business counseling was key. Early legal experience includes serving as a Law Clerk at Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., and as a Paralegal Assistant at Beveridge & Diamond, P.C. Charles began a professional career in education as a Teacher with Baltimore City Public Schools, contributing as a coach and advisor. Academically, Charles earned a J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School and a BA in Political Science and French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
