Jasper Hoek is the current Assistant Director at the Federal Reserve. Jasper has worked in various positions in the economic field for many years. Most recently, they were an Economist at the U.S. Treasury Department, Office of International Affairs from January 2006 to December 2009. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Professor at New Mexico State University from August 2004 to June 2005. Jasper Hoek's experience and knowledge in economics make him a valuable asset to the Federal Reserve.
Jasper Hoek has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan and a BA in Economics and Music from Columbia University.
Jasper Hoek reports to Beth Anne Wilson, Director, International Finance. They are on a team with Shaghil Ahmed - Deputy Director, Joseph W. Gruber - Deputy Director, and Daniel Beltran - Deputy Associate Director.
