Ali Ozdagli is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in economic policy and academia. Serving as an Economic Policy Advisor and Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas since October 2020, Ali previously held the position of Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston from 2009 to October 2020. Ali also contributed to education as a Lecturer in Macroeconomic Theory at Boston University from 2012 to 2015, and as a Lecturer and Teaching Assistant in Elements of Economic Analysis at The University of Chicago between 2006 and 2009. Ali earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the University of Chicago, following a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Economics from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
