Stephen Williams has extensive experience in the field of alternative dispute resolution and legal advisory roles, particularly within the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) since January 2009. Serving as the Director of the Dispute Resolution Service, Stephen provides expert guidance and supervises staff in executing their responsibilities. Previously held positions at FERC include Deputy Director and Attorney Advisor, where expertise in natural gas, electric, and oil industries was utilized to advise senior leadership on various regulatory matters. Prior experience also includes serving as a Law Clerk for the Honorable M. Christine Allen-Jackson, with significant involvement in legal research, drafting of court documents, and mediation of family law cases. Stephen holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and an LL.M in International Commercial Arbitration Law from Stockholm University.
