Richard Lehfeldt currently serves as the Senior Legal Advisor to the Chairman at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since February 2023. Previously, Richard was a Partner in the Energy Group at Crowell & Moring LLP from July 2013 to July 2020, where recognition in Chambers USA highlighted expertise in the electricity sector. Richard's earlier roles include Partner in the Energy Practice at Dickstein Shapiro LLP, Senior Vice President of External Affairs at TECO Energy, Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Edison Mission Energy, and Counsel for the U.S. House Energy & Commerce Committee. Richard holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School (Cum Laude), an MPP from Harvard University, and a B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Michigan.
