Neema Khatri

Senior Advisor, Resilience Office Of The Deputy Administrator at FEMA

Neema Khatri is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public policy and international relations. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor in the Resilience Office of the Deputy Administrator at FEMA since August 2019, Khatri has held significant roles including Branch Chief in both the Recovery Interagency Coordination Division and Field Operations Directorate. Prior to FEMA, Khatri operated a small business at My Gym McLean and served as the Director for Andean Affairs at the National Security Council in The White House. Khatri's career also includes key positions with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where roles included South America and Canada Desk Officer in the Office of International Affairs, and as an External Relations Officer with UNHCR. Khatri holds a Master in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Smith College, with additional study at Universidad Mayor de San Andrés.
