Julia Bouchelle currently serves as a Senior Research Analyst at The Brookings Institution, focusing on international education topics and data analysis for the Center of Universal Education. With previous experience as a Strategy and Content Intern at Shule Direct, Julia contributed to brand strategy and stakeholder engagement. As a David L. Boren Fellow, Julia enhanced Kiswahili language skills and organized an overseas internship. Prior roles include Research Assistant at American University, where Julia focused on youth education in Zanzibar, and various positions at the Peace Corps, including Senior Placement and Assessment Specialist. Julia's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Training and Education and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
