Dominik Mjartan serves as the Vice Chair and CEO at Optus Bank since September 2017 and holds the position of President and Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, Mjartan is a Community Bank Advisory Board Member at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) since April 2022. As a founding board member of Climate First Bank since January 2021, Mjartan also contributes as a board member for the National Bankers Association, South Carolina Association for Community Economic Development, South Carolina Bankers Association, and Community Development Bankers Association, the latter since May 2011. Previously, Mjartan served as Chairman of the Board for the Cdfi Coalition from September 2012 to September 2019 and was a member of the Rotary Club of Little Rock - Club 99 from January 2009 to October 2017. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Ulster University, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and an AA in General Studies from Southern Arkansas University. Mjartan participated in Leadership Arkansas Class IV and Leadership Greater Little Rock programs.
