Ariel Werner is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Assistant Federal Defender at Federal Defenders of New York Inc. since August 2019. Prior to this role, Ariel worked as an Assistant Public Defender at the Office of the Public Defender Maryland from August 2015 to August 2019. Ariel began a legal career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Edgardo Ramos at the U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York, during 2014 to 2015. Ariel holds a Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law (2011-2014) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brown University (2005-2009).
