David Ahern is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in health communications and informatics. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor for the Connect2Health Task Force at the Federal Communications Commission since April 2017, David also holds the position of Special Advisor in Health Information Technology within the same task force. Additionally, David has been the Director of the Digital Behavioral Health and Informatics Research Program at Brigham & Women's Hospital since May 2009. David's previous roles include Senior Scientist at Abacus Management Technologies, LLC, and Special Advisor at the National Cancer Institute from December 2013 to November 2017, where contributions focused on advancing research in behavioral informatics and eHealth to enhance cancer care delivery.
