Paulo Catarino is a highly experienced sport physiotherapist, currently serving the Men's National Team at the Federação de Andebol de Portugal since September 2006, and previously worked with the U20 team that achieved the title of Vice Champion at the European Championships in 2010. In addition to this role, Paulo has been a physiotherapist at Equilíbrio - Saúde&Bem-Estar and Clínica Dr. Falcão Coutinho since April 2014 and September 2006 respectively. Paulo also has a background in professional male volleyball, having worked with Leixões Sport Clube SAD from September 2006 to July 2012. Educational qualifications include a Licentiate degree in Physiotherapy from Universidade Fernando Pessoa, a postgraduate degree in Strength & Conditioning from Faculdade de Motricidade Humana, and further training in manual therapy and osteopathy from institutions in Belgium and Madrid.
