Annabel Bassil is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Field Officer at Fedasil since September 2022, with prior experience in a similar role at Maison Babel Asbl. Annabel has also held positions such as Junior Legal Advisor at Diakonia International Humanitarian Law Centre and Legal Researcher at Victim Advocates International. Additional roles include a Legal Intern at the European Court of Human Rights under the Council of Europe and a Research Intern at the Geneva Academy of International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights. Annabel's academic background includes an LL.M. in international humanitarian law and human rights from the Geneva Academy, a Masters in Law from the Università di Bologna as part of an Erasmus exchange, a Masters in European law from Université catholique de Louvain, and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Université Saint-Louis - Bruxelles.
