Lucas De Ponte is a Board Member at FDC. Lucas was previously a Senior Legal Counsel M&A at Körber AG from September 2018 to June 2020. Prior to that, they were a Senior Associate at Taylor Wessing Germany from July 2016 to September 2018 and an Associate at SEAT,SA from October 2015 to April 2016. Lucas also worked as a PhD Research Associate at Gleiss Lutz from May 2013 to December 2014 and as an Associate at Cuatrecasas from May 2015 to May 2016. Lucas De Ponte began their career as a Legal trainee at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira from January 2013 to April 2013 and then at Linklaters from April 2012 to December 2012.

Dr. Lucas De Ponte completed their PhD at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, with a focus in Spanish law. Lucas also holds a Doctor of Law from the Spanish Ministry of Justice, and is a qualified Rechtsanwalt from the High Regional Court of Berlin. In addition to their law degrees, De Ponte also holds a Master's in Anglo-American Law and Spanish Law from Universität Trier, where they majored in Corporate Law. Lucas is also a qualified Abogado from the Spanish Bar Examination.
