Jack Hayes is an experienced educational leader with a long career in Fayette County Public Schools, where roles have included Director of Innovation & School Improvement and Director of Student Achievement since 2000. In these positions, Jack has focused on enhancing student academic achievement, overseeing various support services, and implementing innovative instructional programs across multiple schools. Prior to these roles, Jack contributed as an Associate Director of Student Achievement and a Middle School Language Arts/Literacy Specialist. Jack's earlier experience includes serving as a Distinguished Educator with the Kentucky Department of Education and as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army Reserve. An educator since 1992, Jack has taught English and Language Arts and coached athletic teams. Jack holds a Master's degree in Education Leadership from the University of Kentucky.
