Olivier Minet

Head Of The Wet Chemistry Section At Federal Agency For The Safety Of The Food Chain at FAVV-AFSCA

Olivier Minet has extensive experience in Near InfraRed spectroscopy, currently serving as an Attaché at AFSCA since July 2021. Previously, Olivier worked as a Project Manager at CRA-W from June 2014 to June 2021, managing a network of NIR spectrometers and overseeing calibration processes. Prior to that, Olivier held roles as a Specialist Application NIR at Aunir, focusing on developing NIR calibrations for agricultural products, and as a Project Manager at CRA-W Belgium. Early career experience includes laboratory technician positions at Université catholique de Louvain and UNamur. Olivier holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Agricultural and Environmental Sciences from Institut Supérieur Industriel Huy and a bachelor’s degree in agricultural processing industry and biotechnology from ISPAC Ciney.
