Kato Mennens has extensive experience in agricultural and environmental oversight, currently serving as Coördinator Sector Transformatie at FAVV-AFSCA since November 2005. In this role, Kato Mennens leads the sector Transformation at the Provincial Control Unit of Brussels. Previously, Kato Mennens held positions as an Inspector and Expert in the sector of primary production of the DG Control, as well as Assistant Manager and Quality Manager. Prior to joining FAVV-AFSCA, Kato Mennens worked as an Agronomist at the Ministerie van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap from October 2000 to October 2005. Kato Mennens holds a Master’s degree in Applied Biological Sciences (Agronomy) from KU Leuven, completed in 2000, and graduated from Sint Dimpnalyceum in 1995.
