Leighton Cooksey has experience working as a Visiting Tutor at the University of Northumbria starting in 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Director at FaulknerBrowns starting in 2000.

Leighton Cooksey began their education journey in 1993 at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Architecture. Leighton successfully completed this program in 1996. Later, in 1998, Leighton enrolled in the same university to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree, which they completed in 2000.
