Marzan A.

Director of Consulting Services, Cloud Based BCDR Solutions at FatPipe Networks

Marzan A. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to present. They began working as a Senior Credit Analyst at Lexington Law Firm in May 2014 and continued until October 2015. They then transitioned to freelance work as a Data Analyst and Data Scientist, taking on various contract projects involving data analytics using tools such as R, Python, SQL, Excel, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Qlik View, and machine learning techniques.

In 2015, Marzan A. joined FatPipe Networks as a Senior Consultant for the SIB Cloud Based BCDR Solution. Their responsibilities included analyzing organizational structures, gathering requirements for disaster recovery and business continuity, developing scope and proof of concept, conducting business impact analysis at the application level, presenting project scopes to stakeholders, designing and strategizing DR/BC plans, conducting training, and deploying and testing the platform on AWS.

In October 2018, Marzan A. was promoted to the role of Director of Consulting Services for Cloud Based BCDR Solutions at FatPipe Networks. In addition to their previous responsibilities, they also oversaw and managed consulting services, advised on BCDR software and platform enhancements, developed and documented application mappings, dependencies, and recovery procedures, conducted business impact analysis at the application level, and conducted presentations and webinars for stakeholders.

More recently, in 2022, Marzan A. took on the role of Strategic Advisor at Monkai, a multi-chain NFT collection, Anime, and Gaming project. They are also Co-founder and Head of BD at REVERB, a Web3-IRL decentralized payments and rewards platform on NEAR and Solana Blockchains.

Overall, Marzan A. has gained extensive experience in credit analysis, data analysis, and disaster recovery and business continuity, and has also ventured into strategic advisory roles in the anime, gaming, NFT, and web3-IRL sectors.

Marzan A. obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science - Data Science (MCS-DS) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2018 to 2020. Prior to that, Marzan earned a Bachelor's Degree in BS Data Analytics from Southern New Hampshire University.

Before pursuing higher education, Marzan attended the University of North Georgia from 2003 to 2006, where they studied Computer Science. Marzan also attended Georgia State University Perimeter College from 1999 to 2003, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science.

Additionally, Marzan has a background in Pure Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from the University of London, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Marzan also pursued further studies in Pure Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and General Mathematics & Trigonometry at the University of London.

In terms of certifications, Marzan has obtained several, including the AWS Certified Big Data Specialty from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2020, Amazon Web Services: Disaster Recovery from LinkedIn in April 2020, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (SAA) from AWS in January 2020. Marzan also holds certifications in CS 498 Cloud Computing Applications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2019, Python Data Science Toolbox Part 2 from DataCamp in April 2017, and Big Data Analysis with Apache Spark from the University of California, Berkeley in September 2016. Marzan also has certifications in AWS Certified Developer Associate (DVA) from AWS in November 2019.

In addition to their formal education and certifications, Marzan has pursued various online courses in data science, programming, and other related areas, including Data Visualization with ggplot2, Introduction to Apache Spark, Introduction to Big Data, Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python, Introduction to R for Data Science, Python Data Science Toolbox, Python Data Structures, and Ruby on Rails Web Development Specialization. Marzan has also completed courses in Excel to MySQL: Analytic Techniques for Business Specialization, Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python), and The Complete Oracle SQL Certification Course.
