Katie Brown is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Fastmarkets since January 2023. Previously, Katie held the position of Deputy General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel at Euromoney Institutional Investor from January 2019 to January 2023. Between March 2017 and November 2020, Katie was Corporate Counsel at RateSetter. Earlier in their career, Katie was an Associate and Trainee at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP from August 2009 to March 2017 and served as a legal team secondee during the London 2012 project from March to October 2011. Katie Brown earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The University of Edinburgh, where studies were completed from 2003 to 2007, following education at Mary Erskine School from 1990 to 2003.
