Frederik Deweerdt is a highly experienced engineering professional with a distinguished career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Distinguished Engineer and Director of Engineering at Fastly since February 2016, Frederik has also held roles including Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer within the same company. Prior to Fastly, experience includes Engineering Manager and Software Engineer positions at Cloudmark from February 2010 to February 2016, and software engineering roles at Bizanga, Inc., BT C&Si, and Sopra Group. Frederik began the professional journey as an intern at EADS Astrium in 2002. Academically, Frederik holds degrees from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, Université Paris-Est Créteil, and Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, with a focus on MIAGE and information management.
