Limbani Kaluwa is an experienced professional in the field of irrigation and water management, currently serving as a Senior Programmes Manager at Farm Concern International since November 2018, focusing on creating sustainable markets for African smallholder producers through the Commercial Village approach. Previously, Limbani held the role of Senior Irrigation Engineer at the Department of Irrigation Services, where responsibilities included planning, designing, and implementing irrigation projects, ensuring quality control and environmental compliance, and conducting staff training. Earlier positions include serving as an Irrigation Officer at LADD and working as a Consultant in water harvesting and small-scale irrigation development. Limbani's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Water Science and Engineering from IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and a Bachelor of Science in Irrigation Engineering from Bunda College of Agriculture.
