Qi Jiao is currently the Manager of System Modeling at Farasis Energy since December 2022. Prior to this role, Qi worked at Ford Motor Company from January 2018 to December 2022 as a Senior Research Engineer for Battery Modeling & Management. Qi also held the position of Senior Research Engineer for CFD Modeling at Ford Motor Company from 2014 to 2017. With a background in Mechanical Engineering and Energy and Power Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison and Xi'an Jiaotong University, Qi has extensive experience in developing and delivering models for battery performance, emissions prediction, and sooting tendency of liquid fuels.
