Peter Sims is an experienced geologist currently serving as an Associate Geologist at Farallon Consulting since July 2021, where responsibilities include the installation and operation of a subslab depressurization system for vapor intrusion mitigation and conducting Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) at various industrial properties. Prior to this role, Peter held multiple positions at Ninyo & Moore from December 2006 to August 2021, including Project Environmental Geologist, Senior Staff Environmental Geologist, and Staff Environmental Geologist, with a focus on managing UST release investigations, overseeing soil and groundwater remediation, conducting hazardous waste assessments, and performing comprehensive ESA studies. Additionally, Peter contributed as an Assistant Coach for the UC Davis Men's Crew during the 2005-2006 season, following the completion of a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the University of California, Davis.
