Omar Khawaja is a Professor at Fanshawe College, teaching Leadership, Professionalism & Communications and Business Ethics, and Communications to post-graduate students since January 2023. As the Country Lead for Business Operations at Amazon Web Services (AWS) since June 2022, Omar manages key business operations processes and implements data-driven solutions to optimize sales. Prior experience includes over a decade at TELUS in various roles, culminating in senior marketing and business analytics positions, where notable accomplishments include a significant improvement in forecasting accuracy and leading successful process improvement projects. Omar's career also features roles at Whirlpool Canada as a Supply Chain Analyst and at Harry Rosen as a Sales Associate and Customer Service Coordinator. Omar holds a B.Comm from Ryerson University and an Associate degree in Computer Science from Brookdale Community College.
