We have been a child abuse prevention and treatment agency since 1972, with an array of programs serving residents of Alameda County, California. We operate in homes, schools and other community sites as well as in our Oakland Headquarters and offices in Hayward.

Directors Team

The Clinical Team at Family Paths provides comprehensive mental health services and interventions to strengthen family relationships and prevent child abuse. They operate across various settings, including homes, schools, community sites, and Family Paths offices, offering therapy, case management, peer support, and crisis intervention. The team collaborates to ensure the delivery of personalized, compassionate care and support to families in Alameda County.

Clinical Team

The Program Management team at Family Paths oversees and coordinates the various mental health and supportive services offered by the organization. This includes managing the Helpline, Calworks, Families In Transition (FIT), Treatment, Intervention and Prevention Services (TIPS), and Outreach programs. Each manager ensures their respective programs run efficiently, meet service goals, and align with the mission to strengthen family relationships.

Program Management

The Administrative and Management team at Family Paths oversees the organization's operations, ensuring smooth execution of programs and services. The Quality Assurance Manager monitors and evaluates service quality; the Executive Assistant provides support to executive staff; the Interim Secretary handles documentation and communication tasks; and the Administration/Facilities Manager oversees office logistics and maintenance. Together, they facilitate the organizational framework necessary to support Family Paths' mission of strengthening family relationships through mental health and supportive services.

The Family Services Team at Family Paths is dedicated to enhancing family relationships through mental health treatment and supportive services. The team consists of various roles including a Foster Parent Community Advocate, who supports and advocates for foster parents, a Family Support Manager specializing in parent education, a Child and Family Therapist for families in transition, and a Family Services Director overseeing the team’s operations and strategy. Together, they provide comprehensive, respectful, and compassionate services aimed at preventing child abuse and strengthening family units across Alameda County.
