Jillian Tessier is an experienced English educator with a robust background in teaching at various academic levels. Currently serving as a full-time English teacher at Fallbrook Union High School District since June 2021, Jillian has taught ERWC, English 11, and English 10, and has experience working with special education and English language development students. Prior to this role, Jillian completed a student teaching position at e3 Civic High and earned a Preliminary California Single Subject Teaching Credential for English from National University. Jillian has also held positions at UC San Diego as a lecturer and academic coordinator for the Analytical Writing Department, as well as teaching roles at several institutions, including the University of Massachusetts Boston and Simmons University. Jillian holds a Master's degree in English Language and Literature from UMass Boston and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
