Travis J. DeCosta, Esq. has held various legal positions over the years. Travis J. started out as an Inventory Control professional in Latasia in 2010 before working in a legal capacity. Between 2013 and 2014, they served as a Legal Intern at Timothy J. Chapman, City Solicitor, East Providence, where they conducted legal research, communicated with attorneys, and drafted ordinances and in-office memorandums. In 2014, they served as a Participant in the United States Patent and Trademark Law School Pilot Program while also working as a Legal Assistant at Roger Williams University, School of Law. In the latter role, they conducted client interviews and intakes, performed legal research, counseled clients on legal issues, collaborated with partners on legal research, strategic planning, and drafted memorandums. Travis J. went on to work as an Associate Attorney at the Law Office of Michael C. Lima between 2016 and 2019 before moving on to Boyle | Shaughnessy Law, where they served in the same capacity. In 2020, they worked as an Attorney at Lewis Brisbois, concluding their tenure in 2022. In 2021, they became the Chief Legal Officer at Faith & Values Fellowship, Inc., and they are presently the Chief Executive Officer at Faith & Values Media Group, Inc., a position they assumed in 2023.
Travis J. DeCosta, Esq. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Quinnipiac University from 2008 to 2012. Travis J. then went on to attend Roger Williams University School of Law from 2012 to 2015, where they obtained their Juris Doctor degree in Law. Prior to pursuing higher education, Travis attended La Salle Academy from 2004 to 2008. Travis also has additional certifications in Mediation, and has been admitted to practice law in both the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bars.
