Ihsan Y. Balkaya currently serves as a Physician at Faith Regional Health Services and holds a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Previously, Balkaya completed a residency as Chief Resident and Resident Physician in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Medical College. Prior experience includes a Preliminary Year Residency at Wayne State University and a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, focusing on neuromodulation and motor learning. Additionally, a brief tenure as a Visiting Physician in the Orthopedics Department at the University of Pennsylvania and experience as a Primary Care Physician with the Turkish Ministry of Health were also part of Balkaya's professional background. Balkaya earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi.
