Gordon Braun is an experienced pastoral leader and spiritual care coordinator currently serving as a Quarter-Time Pastor at Pierce UCC since September 2020 and as a Chaplain/Spiritual Care Coordinator at Faith Regional Health Services since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Chaplain at AseraCare from April 2018 to July 2021, and as Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Norfolk, Nebraska, from March 2012 to May 2015. Gordon's diverse background includes previous positions in retail and customer service, as well as short-term missionary work with Convenção Batista Nacional do Brasil. Gordon holds a Master’s Degree in Divinity from Eastern University and has pursued theological studies at Wesley Theological Seminary. Other educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Delaware and additional studies in Humanities and Spanish.
