Ed Alexander is an experienced structural engineer with a robust background in both residential and commercial projects across New Zealand and the UK. Currently serving as Technical Manager and Project Structural Engineer at Fairhurst since July 2021, Ed has previously held senior engineering roles at Pinnacle Consulting Engineers Ltd and BTW Company Ltd, contributing to a diverse range of structural schemes with a focus on new builds, refurbishments, and seismic assessments. Ed’s expertise extends to coordinating multidisciplinary developments, having worked on projects valued from £0.1m to £50m, and involves delivering various residential, commercial, healthcare, and educational structures. Ed holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Civil Engineering from the University of Plymouth and a National Diploma in Engineering from The Cornwall College Group.
