Emma Kong is a dedicated special education professional with extensive experience in diverse educational settings. Since August 2019, Emma has served as a Special Education Teacher at Fairfield Public Schools, providing differentiated instruction in co-taught 9th grade Algebra and English courses and collaborating with teams to implement Individualized Education Plans. Prior to this, Emma completed a student teaching position at Fairfield Public Schools and served as a Special Education Teacher Assistant at New Canaan Public Schools from September 2015 to January 2019. Emma's early career includes roles as a Lead Preschool Teacher at New Canaan YMCA and a Residential Instructor at Star Inc. Emma holds a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from Fairfield University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Susquehanna University.
