Jing Xia is a highly skilled data scientist with extensive experience in various domains, including retail and finance. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Faire since April 2022, Jing focuses on optimizing retailer growth through acquisition, marketing, and lifecycle engagement. Prior to this, Jing worked at Uber from January 2017 to April 2022, where responsibilities included leading a team in the UberEats restaurant growth initiative and developing strategic data science solutions. Jing's earlier roles involved significant contributions at Capital One, where new credit risk models were developed, and research positions at the Institute of Genomic Biology and the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases. Jing holds a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Beijing Normal University.
