Kate Anderson is a highly skilled professional with substantial experience in compliance and sustainability. As a Trade Certification Specialist at Fair Trade USA since May 2019, Kate executes chain of custody audits, guides traders in implementing corrective action plans, and creates auditing materials to ensure partner compliance with trade standards. Previously, Kate managed compliance relationships and data analysis as a Trade Certification Assistant, and worked as a Consulting Utility Forester at ACRT, where extensive data management was performed. Early roles included a trail crew member with the County of Marin, a Zero Waste Sustainability Intern at Berkeley Lab, and leadership as President of the UC Berkeley Student Athlete Gay-Straight Alliance, advocating for LGBTQ+ inclusion in sports. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Conservation from UC Berkeley and a UX Academy Foundations certification from Designlab.
