John Gibson has extensive experience in the lighting industry, currently serving as UK Specification Manager at Fagerhult Lighting Ltd since May 2005, where previous roles included Sales Manager for the Northern Region and Senior Project Engineer. Prior to this, John held the position of Area Sales Manager at Artemide from June 2003 to May 2005, and worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Etap lighting from December 2000 to December 2002. Earlier in John’s career, experience was gained as Area Manager at Philips Exterior Lighting from January 1997 to December 2000, and as Owner/Stage Manager/Theatre Technician from May 1980 to August 1997. John holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Queen Margaret University, obtained between 1977 and 1980, and completed education at Dunfermline High School from 1972 to 1977.
