Syaiful Ali is a highly experienced academic and finance professional with a long-standing career at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), where Syaiful has served in various capacities including Professor, Associate Professor, and Head of the IT Department since July 2005. In addition to teaching accounting and information systems at both undergraduate and graduate levels, Syaiful has held roles such as Financial Director and Director of Finance and Administration at UGM since July 2019. Syaiful is also a member of the Professional Accountant Certification Board at the Indonesian Institute of Accountants and previously served as the Department Secretary of the Accounting Department at UGM. Syaiful's extensive educational background includes a PhD in Accounting Information Systems and participation in executive education programs at renowned institutions such as Cornell University and Harvard Kennedy School.
