Chris Miller

Chris Miller is a full-time Advocate Depute with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service since May 2024 and a member of Black Chambers since being admitted to the Faculty of Advocates in 2020. With extensive experience in criminal and civil litigation, Chris commenced devilling in 2019, gaining skills in both the High Court of Justiciary and the Court of Session. In August 2023, Chris became a Tutor in Civil Litigation at the University of Glasgow, contributing to the Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice while also serving as an Adviser to the Scottish Parliament's Criminal Justice Committee from November 2022 to March 2023. Previous roles include working as a Trainee Solicitor at Watermans Solicitors and tutoring at the University of Strathclyde, complemented by a solid academic background consisting of a Bachelor of Laws, a Master of Laws focused on Internet Law & Policy, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice.
