Tom Pierce is a seasoned software engineer and tech lead with extensive experience in application engineering and product development. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Faculty since July 2024, Tom priorly held the position of Tech Lead at General System from August 2016 to June 2024, focusing on building applications for geospatial data insights and creating secure APIs. Tom's leadership as Principal Product Engineer involved delivering innovative features for a multimedia application, while initial software engineering roles included early contributions to application development at General System and a focus on fraud analytics at BAE Systems. Tom's career began at Sony BPRL, where significant cloud-based video services were developed. Tom holds a BEng in Digital Media Engineering from the University of Surrey.
