Abel Luis Carcagno is a research investigator at UBA-CONICET since September 2013 and a professor of genetics at the Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales, UBA, since August 2017. Abel holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Buenos Aires, completed in March 2009, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from the same institution, obtained in December 2001.
