Peter Mauler has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Peter started their career in 1983 as a Department Manager at resco electronic Arthur Reindfig GmbH & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft and later worked as a Department Manager at photo porst. In 1992, they became an Editor and Managing Partner at Absatz Verlag, a publisher house for IT dealer magazines. In 1994, they transitioned into the automation software industry, joining Wonderware as a TechSupport Engineer and later becoming a TechSupport Coordinator. From 2006 to 2011, they served as a SCP Certified Support Manager at Wonderware GmbH, leading a team of Technical Support Engineers. Peter then joined Wonderware by Schneider Electric in 2006 as a Senior Manager, overseeing customer support, operations, and infrastructure projects. In 2020, they took on the role of Sr. Manager Customer Support & Operations at Factory Software GmbH - AVEVA Select Germany & Austria. Currently, they hold the position of CTO - Operational Infrastructure & Processes at the same company.

Peter Mauler attended Staatl. Berufsfachschule für Elektrotechnik in Aichach from 1978 to 1980, where they obtained a Techniker degree in Elektrotechnik. Prior to that, they completed their Mittelstufenausbildung und -unterricht at Wernher-von-Braun Gymnasium from 1970 to 1978. In 2011, they acquired a certification as a Certified Support Manager SCP from Service Strategies.
