Joanna Burdyńska is an accomplished researcher and manager in the field of chemistry, currently serving as the Manager of Research and Development at Factorial Energy since September 2021, where previous roles included Staff Scientist and Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Polymer Scientist at BrightVolt and Senior Electrolyte Chemist at Blue Current, Inc. Joanna's expertise encompasses the evaluation of electrolyte performance, formulation of hybrid electrolytes, and development of safe, non-flammable electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master's degree in Chemical Technology from Warsaw University of Technology. Additionally, Joanna gained international experience through the Socrates-Erasmus Program at the University of Twente.
